HEADLINER @ Des Plaines Fall Festival
We are STOKED to be headlining the excellent Des Plaines Fall Festival this Friday night! The venue is a great outdoor pavilion that we will be rocking late into the night. We look forward to seeing many great new faces and old friends. Come. Hang. RAWK.
We are so excited to report that we have received the brand new song mixes from our producer Jamie Candiloro! We are busy plowing through the tunes and making sure they are the best they can be ... just wait and see ...
Vintage Blue in Chicago Tribune
We are so honored to have received a great review in the Chicago Tribune as part of their Music Preview for the Taste of Chicago!
Chocolate, Chocolate Everywhere
We are excited to finally announce THAT IT IS FESTIVAL SEASON!!!
We played one of the first festivals of the season in Chicagoland when we rocked with the fine folks of the Enchanted Village of Long Grove. There was chocolate covered fruit, donuts, bacon and even chocolate ravioli. Fat kid comas ensued.
Return to Wisconsin
As Aaron Lewis used to say "It's Been A While," but we were honored to be invited back up to rock at Route 20 Outhouse in Sturtevant/Racine/Kenosha Wisconsin. It was a great venue and we had a BLAST!
NOVO Management & Publicity
We are SO EXCITED to announce that we have hired Novo Management & Publicity to assist us in promoting our full slate of summer shows. We have a lot going on this summer and are TOTALLY excited to have the music world get to see what we are up to!
Double Door on 4/27
This was our second year in a row rocking the Shoeshine Boy Anniversary Party and we were happy to have some excellent industry guests in attendance! Also it was fun to play with our friends in Chris Buehrle Band, Farraday and Workout Music once again.
Vintage Blue made our first trip to southwest Ohio and jammed at the storied Southgate House Revival with some killer local bands. We had a blast making some new friends and playing in the old renovated church!
Vintage Blue in Madison, Wisconsin
The band was excited for our first show in Madison, Wisconsin and we were not disappointed. Playing with a great crowd for the Summer Camp Music Festival's On The Road Tour, we had an awesome time rocking at an absolutely wonderful venue, High Noon Saloon. Can't wait to head back!
Lincoln Hall - HUGE SUCCESS
We had an absolutely amazing show at Lincoln Hall with a cello, Marty Casey of the Lovehammers, confetti and our full video crew getting some great shots. Stay tuned for some great video and a GREAT 2013!!!
Vintage Blue Goes INTERNATIONAL
We were invited to play a corporate event in Costa Rica and jumped at the chance to take our show on the road. We played an extended set at Hacienda El Viejo in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. It was a blast and we all enjoyed two great days in the perfect weather and on the awesome beaches.
Rocking Elbo Room
At our first Chicago venue show in quite some time we decided to go back years in our band history when we played one of our first shows as a cover band many many years ago ... Elbo Room! We had a blast!
This year we were sad to lose our normal Halloween partners in crime, South of 80, but we continued on playing a giant party at the Chicago House of Blues. We had a blast with the Carnival themed party and quickly got into creepy character.
Blue September - Cleveland
We spent a great morning with Matt's family in Bellefonte, PA and got some great home cookin'. It was exactly what we needed after a long couple of days. Extra credit to Matt for driving well into the night to get us across half of Pennsylvania. Our last show was in Cleveland, Ohio at the world-famous Agora. Springsteen, ZZ Top, The Ramones, The Black Keys and Meatloaf played this place! We had a blast and thanks to all the bands that participated!
Blue September - Ocean City
Because we are ambitious and because we apparently despise sleep, we had a 13 hour drive ahead of us after Atlanta. We ended up in Ocean City and woke up for an 8:30 am appearance on 98.1 Ocean City! It was a sleepy morning for all of us, but a great time with Bulldog, DK and all of the irieradio crew.
Blue September - Atlanta
We spent the night in a Kroger's parking lot before making our way over to the headquarters of Sixthman. They are an excellent company that organizes many of the world's largest and coolest rock cruises! We were honored to perform for their staff and for a live internet stream to all their fans! It was an excellent day and we hope to find ourselves at sea with them soon!
Blue September - Nashville
Had an absolute blast on the first night of our tour in Nashville! We rocked the Hard Rock Cafe with a couple great bands Classic Addict and Adam James and The Firecrackers. It was a perfect day in Nashville and we had an excellent crowd! A great way to start!
Blue September - First National Tour
So excited to be heading out on our first national tour!!! Want to thank everyone that contributed to this trip! Ashley Evans, Lesley Snyder, Patrick Raines, and all the people that have helped us spread the word. Can't wait to see everyone!
We are so excited to announce that we have been added to 118 different radio stations across Canada and the US. This includes 36 states and 3 Canadian provinces and has produced over 1000 spins in the last month. Thanks so much to all of these stations!
We had the EXTREME PLEASURE to rock Milwaukee's Summerfest on July 6, 2012. We opened for Fitz & The Tantrums and got to hang out with Michael Fitzpatrick after their killer set!
Old St. Pats
What a blast! We met Jason Wade from Lifehouse, and became the first band in the history of the World's Largest Block Party to play both the main stage and the south stage in the same day!
In one fell swoop the band has been booked to play The World's Biggest Music Festival AND The World's Biggest Block Party.
How cool is that? This summer we will be playing both of these events, opening for Lifehouse and Fitz & The Tantrums.
Be sure to head over to www.summerfest.com and add us to the schedule!
EXCELLENT NEWS!!! We are starting preliminary work on a handful of new tracks for a new record! This time we will be writing and developing the tunes with Jamie Candiloro. We are already pretty excited about the early sessions! LOOK OUT!
Thanks to all of you our record pre-sold over 480 copies which would have placed us on the Billboard Heatseekers top 60 albums. Unfortunately, the industry is fairly unkind to unsigned artists. Either way, we appreciate the support and this AWESOME RESULT!
SUB-T RECORD RELEASE
The party to celebrate the release of our record "Strike the Mics" was insane. The 400+ that greeted us warmly at Subterranean were ready to party. We had such a great time welcoming back our friend Seth Howard and rocking with cellist Ryan Carney.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Only three weeks until the official release!!!
We just had an excellent write up delivered by Trevor from SOCO Magazine. Handed out the hard copy of the magazine at practice. SUCH A COOL BAND MOMENT!
